Liminal Sound Series Presents Alex Coke Septet (vinyl Record Release Concert) at Museum Of Human Achievement

The Liminal Sound Series is presenting its first recording of original composition and improvisations 
featuring musician/composer Alex Coke in septet
with Arjen Gorter and Ingebrigt Håker Flaten on double basses, 
Elaine Barber on harp, 
Bob Hoffnar on pedal steel, 
Michael St. Clair on trombone, 
and Stephen Bidwell on drums.

The music is based on the unusual timbres of three (quite different) stringed instruments with woodwinds, 
in hopes of engaging the listeners with surprising sounds from a unique sonic pallet.
